1) What is FoodieBay?
Ans) There was once a time when hungry people all over the NCR region were confused and distraught. They could not decide what to eat, where to eat or how to get there. Unable to see this trauma live on, geniuses, who knew pretty well about the nuances of the ‘eat-process’, set up Foodiebay.com!
From the nukkad wala dhaba to the swankiest restaurants in your town, we provide you with all the info you may ever need – menus, reviews, ratings, contacts. (We also make it a point to pamper you a bit if you sign up with us.)
2) What is foodlet.in? (I have seen a few of your menus watermarked with this name)
Ans) Earlier, FoodieBay was known as Foodlet.in. Then the whole numerology thing happened…
3) What is the default order of your search?
Ans) The order in which the restaurants are listed depends on the distance of the restaurant from the location you have actually searched for. For a particular location it’s in alphabetical order. Sometimes, some sponsors might actually make it to the top of a search result. Such results are marked by 'Premium Member'.
4) What does cost for two mean?
Ans) Cost for two means, the cost of a three course meal for two people in a restaurant. This cost may change depending on person to person and your appetite too ;)
5) What do I do if I want to find out the cost for more than two people?
Ans) Complicated process that involves multipying the the cost for two by a suitable factor to obtain a cost for (say) 3 or 4 on a proportionality basis… you can save yourselves the trouble and hire Piyush to do it for you.
6) Do you people take online orders too?
Ans) Not yet. We provide all the necessary information i.e. menus, ratings, reviews, phone numbers etc to assist you in ordering food. But if you need any other vital piece of information to make a meal buying decision and we do not provide it, please let us know and we’ll bring it on.
7) How do you go about rating all these restaurants? (Some of them seem so vague... I am angry!)

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but all our ratings are either directly from or an average from popular food guides such as the Times Food Guide and the HT City Food Guide so that you get an average of various subjective opinions floating around the world. In fact we don’t even moderate any ratings for our restaurants, thus providing a true and honest interface to you! In a way, this also means that only the best rated restaurants work with us to bring the best of culinary pleasures to you.
8) By what time will you be able to cover Mumbai and Bangalore?
Ans) Since airports have been witnessing heavy congestion, Mumbai and Bangalore have been put on the backburner for now. Nevertheless, they will soon be on our priority hitlist.
9) I have not been able to find some restaurants in my locality/area, so how can I get information about them?
Ans) We apologize for the inconvenience. Despite our best efforts, it is next to impossible to get 100% coverage. To get all those restaurants on the site we have missed, all you need to do is tell us the name of those restaurants along with their locality. Suggest a Restaurant
10) You are misleading your customers by putting wrong details about a restaurant. How do I help correct this?
