What is FoodieBay?

FoodieBay is all about food and where you can find the best of it. We seek to provide you everything that you might want to and need to know about food before you actually take the first bite. From the nukkad wala dhaba to the swankiest restaurants in your town, we provide you all the info you may ever need: menus, reviews, ratings, contacts. Above everything else, we want to provide you the convenience to reach all restaurants around you.

Pankaj Chaddah

Pankaj strongly believes that life without the 'F' is a lie. This is exactly why he brought 'F'oodiebay into his life. Pankaj is a 2007 IIT Delhi graduate and is one of the founding members of FoodieBay. Currently, he works at Bain and Company as a Senior Analyst and spends time with the superstar foodiebay student team every week to help shape up their plans for the future. He is one of the key brains behind FoodieBay's marketing programme and has come up with various innovative zero-cost marketing ideas to popularize FoodieBay among Delhiites.

Deepinder Goyal

Deepinder has had experience with a similar startup 3 years ago. He holds an Integrated Masters in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi and currently works with Bain and Company as a Consultant in their India office. He brings in a wealth of business experience having worked in a management consulting firm for three years. He guides the FoodieBay team on their overall strategy ranging from content acquisition, legal issues, competitor benchmarking, marketing strategy, growth and sustainability. He also writes articles on restaurant branding and internet trends for the official FoodieBay blog.

Teemish Gupta

Known for his mastery of disguises, bespectacled Teemish Gupta is adept at fooling people into believing that he is intelligent. Legend has it that he got through the rigorous Foodiebay hiring process by disguising himself as a hotdog and making a hand gesture to the interviewers. The interviewers were so impressed that they decided to adopt the 'hotdog-with-a-hand-gesture' as the official Foodiebay mascot (they switched the finger of course).

Teemish is convinced that Foodiebay is the best thing to happen to restaurants ever since the invention of the frying pan; and he goes about our 1400 restaurants trying to make their managers see 'the light'.

Anshuman Fotedar

This 'dude', in his 3rd year at IIT Delhi, loves to eat, although you wouldn't believe it if you saw his uber-lean frame. FoodieBay came as a boon to him (he is known for having once eaten pizzas for breakfast, lunch and dinner), and it was then that he decided to contribute to FoodieBay. He loves playing football and to indulge in birdwatching, and occasionally, birdhunting...

Murgas beware... No Ghaas-Foos for this 'dude'!!!

Piyush Taneja

Piyush Taneja, a 2nd yr Chemical Engineering student at IIT Delhi loves to take up challenges in life. This budding talent is a perfect mix of brains and entrepreneur skills. With a dream of making it big in the dotcom world, this tennis lover has taken the first step towards realizing his goals. His way of doing things differently sets him apart. One of the few things that his team loves about him that he works only in the night, which makes it very convenient for everyone else (No, we are not saying that he is a nuisance. It only helps manage our workflow). After contributing his bit for FoodieBay, he goes to attend his classes to have a long and sound sleep.

Prasun Jain

FoodieBay was initially an effort of this then final year student of IIT Delhi who is a self proclaimed foodie and loves hanging out with his buddies at all places serving food. He claims FoodieBay to be an effort on his part to help his other fellow foodies to know more about food and prevent that eternal search of an eureka moment for 'the menu', when the last thing he wants is a one minute delay of home delivered food. Currently, Prasun can be seen crunching numbers at Deloitte Mumbai. Ever since he left Delhi for greener pastures [debatable], a group of so many other young turks from IIT Delhi have come together to take FoodieBay to the next level.

Amritansu Nanda

Ever since he obtained his ticket to earth, he has managed to become a second year student at IIT Delhi as of yet. Unlike most other Martians he has forelimbs and hind-limbs (a pair each), kidneys, a brain and a laptop. He is a growing web-developer and nocturnal by nature. He is obsessed by Aliens and their feeding habits. His search of one such alien meal crashed him into the foodiebay team. His hunger for ventures, websites and of course food makes the bond between foodiebay and him unbreakable (even by neo-galactic missile standards).
