   In order to jettison the Sunday evening blues, the husband and me decided to visit the American tavern Bennigans located in GK II during the last weekend. Since we went for a shopping spree in the GK Market, Bennigans was a random choice amongst many eateries tucked in the locality. However, we were very excited to explore this place, but to our utter dismay, the experience turned out to be very unsatisfactory. Our order consisted of Smothered Chicken, Chicken Quesillidas and Bar Tenders. Though the Chicken Quesillidas and Bar Tenders were passable, the Smothered Chicken failed to create any impression, as it tasted like Tandoori chicken smeared in cheese. The service was slow and the portions were very less for an overly priced menu. The ambience was lively and it was a good place to hangout with friends. But, when it comes to food, please avoid it. There are many good options like Ruby's Tuesday to satiate the hunger pangs of American dining.

   Bennigans in Greater Kailash market is one of the best American bar type hangout places in South Delhi. Its got the feel of an Applebees Neighbourhood Grill and Bar, which is one of the concepts that define food and cuisine in the US. Ideal place to catch up with a group of friends. Great music and great beer. What else could you want?

   Well guys, let me tell you our experience. The food is ok-ok type, but not matched with the price tag they have.The manager is a big fraud. we approached bennigans to book a party of 30 people giving him advance of 25% as the manager demanded.on the day of the party, three hours before the scheduled time he calls up and says that he has run into some problem with the landlord and that after hell lot of a difficulty he has been able to arrange a new place for us nearby and he would be unable to host the party because apparently that landlord has locked his place down!!! we had informed all our friends for the party and at this eleventh hour we had little option but to agree. at last we ended up paying the same price but sharing a hall with some other group.the party intended for our group to be private as no more private.besides we checked out later the same day that the place was not locked down, it was up and running when we checked it out later the same day. bennigans is also known to serve badly. they may offer you unlimited snacks booze for some fixed price( which is not at all average) but their service is pretty poor. guests will often be left waiting for snacks and intently pursue staff to put atleast some snacks on the table.guys i think u can get a much better deal some where else. Avoid this place!!!
