We stay a little close to Chin Chin and we frequently order from the place. The food quality is a little inconsistent but good nevertheless. I really like the soups (Manchow soup is so good!) which are very very authentic. And @Shaurya, I agree that sometimes MSG can be a turn off, but you can always ask the restaurant to not put MSG in the food like we always do.

Overall, there aren't many good Chinese places in Gurgaon which also home deliver. Chin Chin is one of the few ones.

This was the second time we ordered.....the food quality has deteriorated as compared to the first time......the home delivery is extremly poor......took two full hours to deliver

After reading all your positive reviews, I decided to try and order from Chin Chin yesterday afternoon. Since I had been expecting it to live up to the four sterling reviews on this page, I was shocked when I saw the food had been delivered in a dirty bag, the lids were loose, and grains of rice were floating around inside the bag! The order consisted of fried rice (which was just so boring and blah), cashew in chicken (an unappetizing dirty grey colour dish loaded with cornflour and no flavour) and Kung Pao Chicken -which was sweet!! It's the first time in my life I have tasted a sweet Kung Pao chicken!) And all the food was loaded with MSG. So, all-in-all, Chin Chin won't be getting any more business from me!

Just ordered from Chin Chin. It took almost 90 minutes for the order to be delivered, but the food was warm when we opened up the packaging. On that note, the packaging is some of the best I have seen for delivery restaurants.

The order consisted of Chicken Noodle Soup, Seafood Soup, Pepper Winglets, Chicken Garlic Sauce and Veg Fried Rice. We ordered all this for 2 people - and both of us were completely full after gobbling up the fare.

The Chicken Noodle Soup was very light in texture, low of spices and served as a great soupy start to the dinner. The Sea Food soup was good too, with some very fresh chunks of sea food in it. The Pepper Winglets were a tad dry and chewy, although this was the only low part of the dinner. But anyways, even those were quite tasty. The Chicken in Garlic Sauce was one of the best I've ever had.

Overall, a great dinner. Although I had to make some Iced Tea for ourselves. Would be just great if Chin Chin served some beverages along with the great food that they bring to the table.

Definitely ordering from Chin Chin again.

    Overall rating: 4/5

    Food: 4/5
Service: 3/5 - can they be a little faster? 90 minutes is a long wait!

I used to think of Chinese food as a gelatinous evil which could only harm a body more than it could do good to. Chin Chin is about taste, style and affordability in one tidy package. I ordered food from Chin Chin a few days ago, and they were courteous enough to deliver to my place in DLF Gurgaon when I didn't even order much food. I was expecting average to above-average food but was delighted by what was inside. The food was fresh and really good.

Now, the food is where the good story really ends. In my case, thats more than half of what I care about. Some constructive feedback for Chin Chin: Chin Chin should improve on four really important aspects from my perspective: 1) Order taking efficiency (the order taker put me on hold to listen into another call for a whole 2-3 minutes) 2) Delivery time 3) Packaging 4) Improve (read introduce) a healthy line of beverages in the offerings - it doesn't really take much to stock off-the-shelf drinks like Nimbooz etc

I got to know about Chin Chin from Foodiebay. Initially apprehensive, I thought, what the heck, this looks interesting and I should try it. We were a group of 4 people and we ordered a couple of soups (Seafood Soup and Manchow Soup), Chicken Black Bean, Veggie Manchurian, Tofu Black Pepper and some rice. Each of these dishes were really good and could heads on with the best chinese restaurants in town (Jing, China Club for example). However, Chin Chin is a delivery only deal and therefore much more cost effective. I have ordered mento boxes from China Club before, but we will be restricting ourselves to Chin Chin for authentic Chinese cuisine in Gurgaon.

I ordered dinner from Chin Chin a couple of days ago. These guys are located quite a lot of distance from where I stay (Sushant Lok), but it took them close to 45 minutes to deliver the order. It takes them a little bit of time to write down the order, but overall you will be delighted when you get down to the food. Also, I am particularly allergic (by choice) to MSG, and I asked Chin Chin restaurant to not use MSG in my dishes. And they made it happen. I wonder if someone like Yo! China would be able to do this (never tried asking them though!).

Overall, brilliant food. Kudos to the chef! I just wish so much that they open a dine-in restaurant somewhere in the civilized part of Gurgaon. Their food will be so much better while fresh and sitting in at a restaurant.

And yeah, the delivery boy was one of the politest I'd ever seen.
